Newton's Nook Designs July Release + 2 year celebration Blog Hop

Happy Friday! Today we're celebrating the 2 year anniversary of Newton's Nook Designs! And what better way to celebrate than with a blog hop and giveaway!

For today's card, I decided to make another card featuring the new "Message in a Bottle" stamp set and coordinating dies.
"You Are My Anchor" by Handmade by Yuki | "Message in a Bottle" by Newton's Nook Designs
I absolutely love the octopus included in this set - how fun is he? I colored him with Copic Markers and cut him out using the coordinating die. I die cut a piece of navy and white cardstock using a stitched square die. I die cut waves from the navy cardstock using a stitched scalloped border die. I then white heat embossed the sentiment onto the blue cardstock. I die cut the clouds using a stitched cloud border die. I created my own background using the anchor included in the set. I don't know what it is about this anchor stamp, but it is so fun to use for backgrounds! I finished the card with some 4mm and 6mm Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Octopus: R37, R39, RV99, W0, W2, W4
