Your Next Stamp Sketch Challenge #38 - Sweet Hello

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm sharing my last post as Guest Designer for Your Next Stamp. I've had so much fun this month and I'm truly thankful for this awesome experience! I'm playing along with the new challenge and this time around I went with the color challenge to create a sweet shaker card using Woodland Cuties.
YNS Challenge #38 - Sweet Hello by Handmade by Yuki | Woodland Cuties by Your Next Stamp
I started off by coloring the sweet bunny with Copic Markers and then fussy-cutting it out, leaving a white border. To make the bunny extra cute, I die cut a bow from pink pattern paper and glued it onto the bunny. I created the shaker window using two stackable window dies. I then die cut a piece of green pattern paper using a grass border die to add in front of the acetate window.  I filled the shaker with a mixture of Pretty Pink Posh sequins using colors inspired by the challenge. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto purple pattern paper and then cut it out using a stitched label die. The top white panel was cut using an A2-sized stitched rectangle die and the bottom was cut using a stitched scallop border die. To finish the card, I added a few Spring Flower sequins to the grass.

I just love how cute this card turned out and had so much fun being inspired by the color combo. I hope you were inspired today and enjoyed my projects for YNS! Be sure to swing by the YNS blog for much more inspiration. Have a wonderful day! ♥

Taylored Expressions
Welcome back crafty friends! It's Thursday again and it's the last Share Joy Challenge of the month. Can you believe April is already over? I feel like the year is just flying by! For this week I went with the color challenge and made a fun, bright and colorful birthday card using Party Pals.

I colored the happy candle with Copic Markers and then cut it out using the coordinating die. I used pattern papers and green card stock inspired by the challenge and cut them out using stitched rectangle dies. For some added interest, I also added a layer of vellum. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto gray card stock and then fussy-cut it out. I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to the candle and some Shimmer Pico Embellisher to the flame. To finish the card, I added sequins and mini star confetti from Pretty Pink Posh.

I just love how fun and happy this card turned out. I hope you were inspired as well and hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks again for stopping by and be sure to swing by the Share Joy Challenge Blog to see more amazing inspiration! ♥

Newton's Nook Designs - Safari Birthday

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog sharing a fun birthday card using the adorable critters from the Wild About Zoo set.
Safari Birthday by Handmade by Yuki | Wild About Zoo by Newton's Nook Designs
I started off by die cutting a piece of kraft cardstock using a stitched rectangle die. I stamped a canvas background stamp in Khaki ink for some added texture. I then cut three windows using stitched label dies. I cut the stitched labels from watercolor cardstock as well. I stamped the three critters onto each tag using my mini MISTI. I watercolored the images using Gansai Tambi watercolors and ZIG clean color real brush markers. I used olive cardstock for the cardbase and created a stamped background by stamping one of the hearts in a coordinate ink. I added some twine to the main card panel and white heat embossed the sentiment onto a black strip of cardstock. To finish the card I added Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

This was such a fun card to make and I had so much fun coloring the cute critters. Thanks again for stopping by and have a wonderful day! ♥
