Newton's Nook Designs - May Flowers Blog Hop

Hi crafty friends! Welcome to this year's Newton's Nook Designs May Flowers blog hop! If you're just joining the hop now, you'll want to head on over to the NND blog to start from the beginning.

It definitely feels like Spring here in Seattle. Even on overcast/rainy days, the temperatures are much warmer and we've even had some gorgeous hot days already! We recently moved to a different neighborhood in Seattle and I've been enjoying riding my bike to/from work along the trails. How's the weather been for you? Are there any fun outdoor activities you enjoy doing with the warmer weather?

Ok, so back to my blog post. For today's post, I decided to go the clean and simple route. I used the flowers from Beautiful Blossoms and the sentiment is from Fanciful Florals.

This card was pretty easy to make and it'd be great to mass produce a set of these and give as a gift. I stamped the flower images directly onto a white card panel using my hand-dandy MISTI tool. I then stamped three of the flowers separately and colored them with Copic Markers (B000, B00, B02). I fussy-cut the colored flowers and popped them onto the card panel with foam tape for some added dimension. I them mounted my panel directly onto a blue card base. And voila! Easy peasy, right?

Don't forget to continue to hop along for much more inspiration! Thanks again for stopping by and have a wonderful day! ♥
