Your Next Stamp - Guest Designer

Hi crafty friends! Today I am so excited to announce that I will be a Guest Designer for Your Next Stamp for the month of April!

Today I'm up on the YNS blog sharing this sweet coffee-themed card using the Hammie - Coffee and Tea set.

This set is seriously so adorable! The sentiment pretty much sums up my Mondays lol! I started off by stamping the hamster in a cup directly onto a white card panel that I had die cut using a stitched rectangle die. I colored the image with Copic Markers and then covered the entire mug with a thick layer of Shimmer Pico Embellisher. I outlined the outer stitched portion with a light blue Copic Marker. I then created a gray frame die by using two stitched rectangle stackable dies. I die cut the sentiment using a stitched banner die and like the focal panel, I also outlined the outer stitched portion with the same light blue Copic Marker. To finish the card, I added some matching gray twine.

This card is just so sweet and I had so much fun using this set. Be sure to hop on over to the YNS blog to see my introduction post and for more inspiration! Thanks again for stopping by!

Taylored Expressions Share Joy Challenge #29 - Sketch + Color Challenge

Taylored Expressions
Hi crafty friends! It's Thursday, which means it's time for a new challenge on the Share Joy Challenge blog. This week I was inspired by both the sketch and colors. I created a sweet birthday card using the Under the Toadstool set.

Inspired by the sketch, I used a stitched scalloped border die to create layers of ruffles for the bottom half of the card. I die cut the focal panel from light blue patten paper using a stitched circle die. I colored the images with Copic Markers and then cut them out using the coordinating dies. I stamped the sentiment onto a banner and popped it over the focal panel with some foam tape.

I just love how this card turned out and had a lot of fun with this week's sketch. I hope you were inspired as well and be sure to swing by the Share Joy Challenge Blog to see more amazing inspiration. Thanks again for stopping by and have a wonderful day! ♥

Newton's Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge #30 - Spring Theme

Happy Friday! There's a new Inky Paws Challenge on the Newton's Nook Designs blog. For this challenge, I was inspired by the spring theme and loosely inspired by the image. I created a sweet, Spring-inspired hello card using Wagon of Wishes.

I used the scallop frame die from Pretty Pink Posh to cut the focal panel. I stamped the wagon and flower pots from Wagon of Wishes directly onto the panel and colored the images with Copic Markers. The sentiment is from the Versatile Vases set. I colored the scalloped portion of the frame with my B000 Copic Marker. For the background, I stamped a gingham background with Soft Vanilla dye ink onto a white panel. I mounted the background onto a kraft card base and added white faux stitching along the edges. To finish the card, I added some white twine along the top of the card.

This card is just so sweet and I love the soft pastel colors. I hope you were inspired by today's card and I cannot wait to see what you create! Don't forget to visit the Newton's Nook Designs blog for more inspiration! ♥

Taylored Expressions Share Joy Challenge #28 - Sketch + Clean & Simple

This is my second post of the day, for the Newton's Nook Designs DT post, click here.

Taylored Expressions
Hi again! It's time for a new challenge on the Share Joy Challenge blog. This week I made a clean and simple card inspired by the sketch using the super fun set, Party Pals.

Since the design for this card was so simple, I decided to go with a 4-bar card size. I colored the cute birthday cake with Copic Markers and cut it out using the coordinating die. For some extra fun sparkle and shine, I covered the icing and candles in Shimmer Pico Embellisher. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto a teal blue cardstock I cut into a thin banner strip and mounted it over a piece of gray pattern paper. To finish the card, I rounded all four edges using my corner chomper.
